Product Description:

• The active ingredient in Advantan® belongs to the group of medicines called corticosteroids.
• The corticosteroid in Advantan® is suitable to put on the skin.
• It is therefore called a topical corticosteroid, which is sometimes shortened to topical steroid.
• When Advantan® is put on the skin, it relieves the redness, swelling, itching and irritation of the skin in eczema and psoriasis.
• Advantan® preparations are available only with a doctor’s prescription.

How To Use:

• Always use this medicine exactly as your doctor has told you.
• Check with your doctor if you are not sure.
• If not prescribed otherwise by your doctor, the general dosage is as follows:
• Apply Advantan thinly once per day to the affected areas of skin;
• Always keep the treatment period as short as possible. The duration of use should not
• Exceed 12 weeks in adults and 4 weeks in children
• If your skin dries out excessively using Advantan Cream, ask your doctor about switching
• To one of the formulations with a higher fat content (Advantan Ointment or Advantan Fatty
• Ointment).
