Avamys 27.5 micrograms Nasal Spray Suspension

Avamys Nasal Spray contains a strong steroid called Fluticasone furoate that is very effective for managing inflammation caused by an allergy in the nasal passages.  It is licenced for use by adults 18 years and above suffering from allergic rhinitis (a stuffy, runny or itchy nose, sneezing and watery, itchy or red eyes).

Fluticasone furoate is not to be confused with Fluticasone propionate, known as Flixonase or Pirinase which are similar but less effective.

Most patients who use Avamys will start to notice benefits within 8-24 hours of starting treatment, but it could take between 7-14 days of regular use to see the full anti-inflammatory effects. Whilst this steroid nasal spray may not provide immediate allergy relief, using this spray regularly can stop/reduce allergic rhinitis before it even starts!  Great for seasonal allergy sufferers.

You can even combine this medicine with allergy eye drops, and antihistamine tablets if required.
